Deckers X Lab boots fit “true to size”. What may be true to size for you, may not be true to size for the next person. As a rule of thumb we tell our customers to order the same size as your running shoe (we’re pretty close the major running shoe brands in sizing). Our fit is on the fuller side, knowing most feet tend to widen up after carrying an 80lb. load on your back. We do offer wide models, our wide width can be classified as a EE+.
Our cow suede boots (G8) should be free of dirt and sand, simply use a soft brush or cloth to remove any excess dirt or mud. Use warm water and mild soap and gently scrub your boots. Let the boots air dry in an area with good ventilation out of direct sunlight. For the M4, you can use a kitchen sponge with a mild abrasive back to scrub the rubber rand. Use the least amount of pressure possible, all dirt and mud should come right off with the sponge. As in the case of our cow suede boots, let air dry in a well ventilated room.
